TLRI Tertiary Review

The TLRI is reviewing its contribution to building knowledge about teaching and learning by undertaking three reviews, one examining work completed in the early childhood sector, one in the tertiary and the final one in the school sector. Two of these reviews have now been completed, one in the early childhood sector  (2011)and one in tertiary (2012). While they are sector specific both provide insights that will be helpful to project teams regardless of their proposed area of study.

Tertiary (Post Sector) review 2012

On 22 November we held a symposium to explore what we have learnt about teaching and learning in the tertiary sector through the collective work of the TLRI. The aim was to look at the knowledge that has been generated, how it has been used and where the gaps and next priorities lie. Associate Professor Dr Nick Zepke and Dr Linda Leach of Massey University were commissioned to review the TLRI projects that have been carried out in the tertiary sector to date. A response was made to their  paper from Ako Aotearoa. A summary of the discussion at the symposium is also available.
